The latest COVID-19 updates are here
As things start to head towards a ‘new normal’, we’ve been busy behind the scenes – looking at how we reopen our restaurants to customers in the best and safest way possible.
We’ve taken all Government guidance on board, engaged with third party restaurant hygiene auditors, spoken to our staff, and surveyed a selection of our regular customers to ensure our teams feel supported coming back to work, and our customers feel safe in our restaurants.
You’ll notice a few changes next time you slurp in restaurant with us, including:
π Team members are only asked to return to work if they feel safe and happy to do so. We’ll continue to support those who don’t.
π Enhanced medical questionnaire completed by all team on commencing work and every 2 weeks after.
π PPE provided for team use.
π Travel to work and uniform policies in place.
π A 20-minute cleaning system is in place.
π Temperatures taken and recorded before starting work for each member of staff, daily health check in place.
π Reduced capacity for customers to allow for physical distancing.
π Hand-sanitizer available at points throughout the restaurant.
π Clear signage for queue management.
π Order and pay at table app to reduce time serving staff will be at your table.
This is by no means an exhaustive list, and it will no doubt evolve over the coming weeks as the situation changes. Be sure to check back here for the latest!
As always your safety is of the utmost importance to us, so if you have any questions, comments or concerns – please do get in touch with us at enquiries@tonkotsu.co.uk
